Destination Ride: Martha’s Vineyard

Saturday June 8, 8:30 am.

Meet at Steamship Authority Palmer Avenue Parking Lot, 286 Palmer Ave. (Rt.28), Falmouth

Our second Destination Ride is a full day adventure!  Bring your bike to the Cape and join us on a day-trip riding around beautiful Martha’s Vineyard.  You are responsible for your own ferry fare and any additional expenses. Please bring a spare tube and read our Ride Guidelines before you come.

Participants are invited to meet at the Steamship Authority Palmer Avenue Parking Lot, 286 Palmer Ave. (Rt.28), Falmouth on Saturday, June 8, for an 8:30am bike ride to the ferry.  Parking at this lot is $12, a round trip ferry fare for an adult is $17, and the fee for bike transport is an additional $8. Participants are responsible for their own parking fees, ferry fare, and any expenses.

Upon disembarking at 10:15 the group will briefly tour Oak Bluffs and then bike to Edgartown following the trail along State Beach. Participants can choose to spend time in Edgartown or to continue for an additional 8 mile round trip ride to South Beach. The group will depart Edgartown at 2:30 to return to Oak Bluffs in time for an early dinner and to catch the 6:15 ferry.

Quincycles rides are open to members and non-members. Bicycling involves certain inherent risks.  Your participation in a Quincycles ride constitutes your agreement to this Acknowledgement, Waiver and Release. Please review ourRide Guidelines before the ride and check our Facebook page for weather related updates
