Biking Basics Class: Brakes
Want to learn about your bike and build your skills this year? League of American Bicyclists Certified Instructor and Quincycles President, Irene, will be offering short classes before these Saturday rides. May’s topic is brakes. Topics will include what to look for in a pre-ride check, knowing when you need new brake pads, safe braking techniques, fine adjustments. Bring your questions and see a flat fix demo before we go on a ride to Wollaston Beach, North Quincy, and East Milton.
Start at Wollaston School parking lot. End at Coffee Break Café for a social gathering and time to ask more of your bike questions.
Route Map The ride is approximately 9-miles and relatively flat.
