Quincycles and the Mayor’s Bicycle Commission are offering this class for adults and mature teens age 16+ who want to learn to ride a bicycle.
With a safe, easy, effective method, participants will learn how to balance, pedal, start, stop, and steer a bike, as well as adjust a helmet for proper fit. Most people learn to ride in one session, but even if they don’t, they’ll leave equipped with an easy, low-stress way to teach themselves. Classes are for ages 16+ and will be led by a League of American Bicyclists Certified Instructor.
Come to this class if you’ve never sat on a bike or just haven’t done so in years. Bikes and helmets will be provided for use at the class for those who need them.
Class size is limited. Please register on our Eventbrite page so we can plan for you.
We are grateful to the South Shore YMCA for their generosity in allowing us to utilize their parking lot for these classes and encourage you to support the Rodman Ride for Kids.
