Here is our latest offering for you: a route to get around Quincy from the Old House at Peacefield, via the Dorothy Quincy House, through the Point and past the Shipyard with a stop at the Birthplaces of our 2 Presidents and Abigail’s Cairn. Before you get back to where you started, you get to see the views from the new dog park.
We’ve given you a few unorthodox connectors: the path around the High School, a way to cross Southern Artery at a signaled crossing that requires you walk your bike to a road that allows you into the neighborhood and isn’t one way out; a corner cut through the Credit Union parking lot, and a connection through the MBTA that doesn’t require you to get on a train. The dog park road is finished, but it isn’t on the map yet. You can find the gravel path that will bring you out to Rockview Road at the back of the park. Please use your transformative ability to become a pedestrian wherever that makes you more comfortable and always ride responsibly.
