WEATHER UPDATE As much as we look forward to our Cranksgiving event each year, we are concerned about inviting you all out in heavy rain and high winds. We will be at Interfaith Social Services as planned at 11am, but will only ride if there is a lull in the expected downpours and that ride will probably be a shorter one than in previous years. We understand if the forecast deters you from riding, but please don’t let it dampen your generosity. Interfaith Social Services will still be accepting donations and we hope you will still come and give what you can. Sunday November 24, 11:00 am. Meet at Interfaith Social Services, 105 Adams Street Our 4th annual bike powered food drive in partnership with the Interfaith Social Services Food Pantry. We ride together to shop as much or as little as we are able for items needed by the food pantry at Interfaith Social Services.  Visit 4 different stores with us and submit your receipts to be entered to win prizes in our raffle. Destination Ride: Battle Road

Saturday September 28, 10:00 am. Meet at Minute Man Visitor Center, 250 N. Great Rd., Lincoln 01773 We will ride parts of the historic battle road where the Minutemen clashed with the British on April 19, 1775, through Concord Center to the North Bridge where “once the embattled farmers stood and fired the shot heard round the world.”  We’ll continue along the Concord River, return to Concord Center for coffee, then ride back to the Visitor Center in Lincoln.  Approximately 17 miles with frequent stops.  Arrive at the starting point early to take in some exhibits. Pick the 12 mile route and ride Storrow Drive car free, or join the 45 mile route around the Emerald Necklace.  A great way to push your limits or just relax and enjoy a view of the city usually only available in a car. Saturday August 10 Longer Ride, 7:30 am. Meet at Bernazzani School, 701 Furnace Brook Parkway Shorter Ride, 9:00 am. Meet at Merrymount School, 4 Agawam Road Our annual challenge ride to Quincy’s highest elevation point at Chickatawbut Overlook and then out to the coast at Nut Island, but we are welcoming those who want a less strenuous ride also.  Pick your start location and cycle your preferred distance and elevation.
