From Quincy Shore Drive, turn onto East Squantum Street. Turn left onto Victory Road then another left onto the Haul Road in Marina Bay.) ROUTE: Join us as we make our way along the Quincy/Milton side of the river (Squantum Point Park, Commander Shea Blvd, Newport Ave. Ext., W. Squantum, Adams St., Brook Road) before deciding whether to cross over the river at Central Ave. or make our way to the Pine Tree Brook trail, which connects to Blue Hills Pkwy, and taking Eliot St. back toward the Neponset Greenway and over the Neponset Bridge back to Marina Bay. There are a couple of hills (W. Squantum St. is a good workout) and some hard packed gravel in parts (Squantum Point Park and Turner’s Pond). Near the beginning of the ride, we’ll likely go along the RiverWalk behind Boston Scientific. That part of the trail has some loose gravel, so we’ll likely walk the bikes, but enjoy the views! When we’re done, we’ll head over to Cream and Sugar on the boardwalk for those who would like. This is a coordinated ride with the Neponset River Watershed Association. RIDE LEADER: Maura...
