Join us for a bike ride to our cleanup location. We will head out from the Hancock Adams Common at 8:30am to begin our cleanup of the Billings Creek Salt Marsh Trail at 9am. This bike and pedestrian path that connects Commander Shea Blvd to the Neponset Bridge was deluged and buried in debris from the nor’easters this month. I’ve seen cyclists and pedestrians trying to navigate the path around and over the debris while riding on Commander Shea. People want to use the path and I hope you will join me and give a bit of time to help clean it up. The Quincy DPW and Parks Department will be providing tools and trash bags and will take the trash we bag up away — thank you City of Quincy! You just need to show up and give us a hand for a half hour, an hour, or whatever time you have between 7 and 10 this Saturday morning.
