Our annual bike powered food drive to support our neighbors. We celebrate Cranksgiving and this season of giving with a social ride to shop for items needed by the food pantry at Interfaith Social Services. There is no required purchase to participate. Please be prepared to carry your own purchases on this ride.
This year we will offer a group ride visiting stores for gathering donations from the list below. You choose what to buy according to your own bike’s carrying capacity and your budget. The ride ends at O’Rourke Field for a celebration with refreshments for participants. Please note that the ride is one way and not a loop ride.
Route Map We will be stopping at Star Market, Ocean State Job Lot, and 99 Ranch this year.
If you would prefer to donate money directly to Interfaith Social Services, you can so here.
Here is a list of the pantry’s most needed items so you can plan your donations.
Many thanks to Zachary Bakalos, the former QHS student who designed our Cranksgiving logo back in his senior year.
