May Destination Ride: East Bay River Trail, Providence, RI
WHEN: Saturday, May 21, 8:30am WHERE: Meet at the Riverside parking lot at 8:15 am and plan to start the ride at 8:30 ROUTE: We are planning to ride the East Bay Trail which goes from East Providence to Bristol Rhode Island. The ride will take you along the East River and through several Villages and State Parks. In Bristol we will enjoy coffee and pastry at the Sip and Dip Coffee shop and take time to enjoy the waterfront before our return ride back to Providence. This will be a 3 to 3 1/2 hours ride at a leisurely pace with several rest stops. This is one of the nicest bike trails in New England. Please plan to join us and bring a friend or two! DIRECTIONS: Take I-95 south to Providence Rhode Island. In Providence take Route I-195 East. Take exit 4 (Riverside) to Veteran’s Parkway.
