Due to the Coronavirus pandemic and state mandates, this ride will not be held if social distancing and limited gathering size requirements remain in place. If you choose to ride on your own, please follow these safety guidelines: 1)      Ride alone or with people you already live with and adhere to social distancing guidelines. 2)      Bring all the snacks and water you will need to minimize stops at stores and interactions with others. 3)      Ride with caution since our medical community is already overburdened. 4)      Plan your ride to minimize stops and have a backup plan should you need assistance. 5)      Do not ride if you are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19. We have cancelled this ride due to the extreme heat forecast. Saturday July 20, 9:00 am. Meet at Wollaston MBTA Station, Newport St. entrance. The new and accessible Wollaston MBTA Station will be open soon (we hope!) and what better way to begin and end your commute than by bike? Join us on this ride to explore the Wollaston Neighborhood and discover low stress connectors from the MBTA to East Milton and back. Squantum Ride

Squantum Ride

Saturday, April 27, 9:00 am. Meet at Mosswetusset Hummock Parking Lot, E. Squantum St. Explore Squantum, Marina Bay, Billing Creek Salt Marsh Trail, and the Quincy River Walk with us and discover connections to the MBTA, Squantum Point Park, and Marina Bay. Please bring a spare tube and read our Ride Guidelines before you come. The 2019 Neponset River Watershed Association Spring Cleanup is also on this day April 27.  Each year there is quite a bit of winter storm debris from the Neponset River Bridge to Squantum Point.  Volunteers are needed from 9 am to noon to help clean the shoreline and walking/cycling paths in Quincy.  Tools, gloves, and light refreshments are provided.  DCR trucks will help collect filled garbage bags and large pieces of debris. Neponset River Trail – 2 Ride Choices Saturday, April 13 Longer Ride, 7:30 am. Meet at City Hall, Quincy Center (parking is usually available at 34 Coddington Street if you need it) Shorter Ride, 8:15 am. Meet at Neponset River Reservation on Granite Ave at Hilltop St., Dorchester   Join us for our inaugural ride this season.  If you are a cyclist comfortable on our roads and want to ride a longer route, meet us at City Hall.  For those of you who are just stretching your cycling legs, meet us at the Neponset River Reservation on Granite Ave at Hilltop Street and we will show you the beautiful Neponset Greenway and the Harvest Bridge.
